Hampton Veterinary Hospital is here to help your pet get back to feeling happy and healthy. One of our doctors will perform a thorough physical examination, discuss the possible causes for your pet’s illness, and go over their recommendations for care with you.
Hampton’s non-routine illness care uses advanced technology and medical expertise to treat a wide variety of pet conditions including but not limited to:
- Vomiting/diarrhea
- Dehydration
- Respiratory illness
- Bacterial and viral infections
- Skin irritation
- Ingested objects/poisons
- Allergies
- Acute injuries (sprains, fractures)
We have the ability to diagnose and treat most common veterinary conditions on-site. Our diagnostic testing includes:

Bloodwork
Complete blood count (CBC), chemistry profile, thyroid screening, pancreatic testing, and electrolyte levels. -
Urine Testing
Urinalysis, urine culture, and urinary tract ultrasound. -
Digital X-ray
Performed on-site, reviewed by one of our staff doctors same-day, and then all images submitted to a board-certified veterinary radiologist. -
Ultrasound
On-site full abdominal ultrasounds and echocardiograms performed by a veterinary specialist (by appointment only). -
Eye testing
Corneal stain testing to detect lacerations and ulcers, tear testing, pressure testing to screen for inflammation and glaucoma. -
Fine needle aspiration and cytology
To help determine infection and/or the presence of cancer cells in skin lesions and other masses.
We also work closely with Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire should your pet require emergency services or specialized care.
